The Swordfish Text Search Module (TSM) provides a powerful extension to the functionality of Swordfish by allowing searching on the text content of documents in addition to, and in combination with metadata (index) searching, to provide a comprehensive access path to all documents.  

Swordfish TSM extracts searchable text from documents stored within Swordfish whether they are scanned images or electronic documents. The Search Result list is displayed in Google style window with an excerpt of the text showing the Search word or phrase in context, enabling the user to identify the desired information quickly and accurately.
